10 facts:
  • Athena's parents are Zeus and Metis. Zeus is one of the main gods and has created most of the gods and goddesses and has been married several times. Zeus was the god of bad weather.
  • Zeus swallowed his first wife(Metis) so she would not bear a child stronger the Zeus. Zeus was afraid she would have a child stronger then he.
  • A blacks men opened Zeus head with an axe and Athena popped out.
  • Athena was Zeus's favorite daughter.
  • Athena and her uncle Poseidon both claimed Greece (Athens) Poseidon was Zeus's brother and Poseidon was another main god. He was the god of the sea,earth quakes, and horses.
  • Athena and Poseidon made a deal who ever came up with the finest gift would win Athens. Only voted by the people. Athena won, her gift was olive tree. Athens was named after Athena.
  • Paris was to judge 4 goddesses to be the prettiest, but she lost.
  • Athena helped Odysseus come op with the plan of the Trojan horse. (Trojan War)
  • Athena changed Medusa's hair into snakes, after Poseidon violated her in her temple. That was Athena's way of punishing Poseidon.
  • Often called "Pallas Athena"
  • Athena has a statue of herself in Parthenons, Athens.

-I used green and brown as the colors on my wiki space because Athena's is the goddesses of war and green and brown are the colors of war. I didn't use colorful colors(even though she is the goddesses of craft) because she is based more on war.
